Allison Ellibee
Ms. Allison is the mother of 10 children 2 step children and 5 grandchildren. Allison's kids range in age from 30 to 9! She has owned her own preschool / day care in Idaho and worked in a day care, has been home schooling some of her children for the past 13 years and has worked with kids voluntarily at church and in her community for over 25 years. She has lived in Alaska for the past 17years.
Ms. Allison is certified in First Aid and CPR. She is thrilled to implement all of her knowledge and skills in helping each student enrolled at Valley Creative Minds Preschool find success and develop a love of learning. You will love Ms. Allison, She is great!
Summer Evans
Ms. Summer has lived in Alaska for over 30 years and has lived in the Palmer area for 18 years. Ms. Summer loves hiking, reading, and baking but most of all she loves spending time with her husband and two boys exploring the beautiful Mat-Su Valley.
Ms. Summer is an enthusiastic and loving preschool teacher. With over 20 years of experience in the early childhood education field, she has worked in many preschool environments. She has played a key role in the planning of daily activities and managing staff, but the job she loves most is working directly with preschool students. Ms. Summer has held various summer camps that enriched the lives of children during their summer days. She had the pleasure to own and operate a daycare/preschool for 6 years while living in Anchorage.Ms. Summer has taken many classes in the early childhood development field and continues to study and research to further her education and broaden her knowledge so that she can serve her students to the best of her ability. She is experienced and knowledgeable in the area of working with children who have food allergies and asthma.
Ms. Summer is passionate about creating a happy and healthy environment for children. She believes that meeting the needs of the whole child, emotionally, physically, and academically is key. Ms. Summer believes that cultivating a healthy and strong self -esteem for a child will set them up to love learning and prepare them for a successful future of continued education and learning.
